Adam Barth - Beyond Bean-Counting: The Business of Photography

George Joell - Mastering The Wedding Day Like A Pro! 

Mastering the wedding day like a pro requires the skill sets, knowledge, and stamina to handle every aspect of the wedding and reception. It requires a delicate balance between documenting the wedding day and creating impactful images that inspire, excite, and challenge the photographer and clients.

In this  class, you will learn how to visualize the wedding day like a blank canvas while sticking to a predetermined timeline, master a range of lighting techniques, you’ll be guided through posing individuals, couples, and larger groups such as families and bridal parties, taught processes used to strategically and systematically photograph each aspect of the wedding, and understand the importance of setting expectations with your clients through communication.

Bring your camera and be prepared to practice and shoot!

Sally Lumpkin - Headshots: Here, There & Everywhere!

Learn to handle client requests for headshots, whether they need them to be created in-studio, within their own office or workspace, or outdoors. 

Bring your camera for this class, as you will learn lighting, using both studio strobes and speed lights, modifiers, and posing. 

Karen Doody - Macro Photography

From flowers to bugs, even product photography, macro photography allows you to explore creative ways to showcase subjects that are often overlooked but right under our noses! This class will discuss gear options, camera settings, lighting, tips and tricks for success and touch on some creative processing options. We will start with lecture then hands on shooting in small indoor studio sets. This is the perfect lass for photographer who want to explore the many creative options of macro photography and free your inner artist!

Course Items for Participants: Camera, tripod, macro lens if you have one (if you don’t, bring what you have‚ and we will make it work!) and a small constant light (fully charged). If you have a remote shutter release (does not have to be wireless) bring it. Notebook to take notes. I will have props, backgrounds, a few small light etc.
